My Story

Hello, I hope everything is going wonderfully in your life. Please receive warm regards from Marleny Gricelda Sut Portuguez. I turned 12 years old in February. I am in 6^th grade and I feel so happy because it is the last one of Primary School. Living Water has been blessing me with lunch and medicine for six years. I receive my meal at school and I am grateful for it. I help my parents by shepherding sheep. I cannot wait for the sunny weather because it is the best time to play with water. I like attending a church and singing or helping out however I can.

Thankfully, my family and I are doing great and everyone is healthy. I would like to open up my heart to tell you about my dad. It has not been easy for me. My father has been living in the United States for several years. He used to support us financially and keep in touch with us, but a few months ago, he stopped doing so. Currently, we do not know anything about him. Although, my older brothers live and work there, they are not in touch with him either. Despite everything, God has not left us alone and has blessed my brothers with jobs. They support our family. Meanwhile, my mother stays at home doing the chores, and she earns extra money raising and selling hens, cows and sheep. I ask for your prayers for my mother since she suffers headaches. Please pray that God may restore her health. She takes natural medicine to relieve the pain. My mother is grateful for the different blessings that I receive through the feeding program, especially that we receive our food at school now. We are members of a Pentecostal church called “Manantial de Vida, Jesus es el Pastor”.  We pray that God will bless you and she prays for the health of everyone who makes the feeding program possible.
