My Story

Hello! It is a pleasure to greet you in the name of Jesus and wish you a successful day. I want to share a little about my family and me in this opportunity. My mother`s name is Santos Portuguez Simaj. She is 40 years old. At the moment, she continues doing chores at home and she raises cows to sell and get some income.  My father´s name is Agustin Sut Ventura.  He is 50 years old. At the moment, he continues working as a farmer. Moreover, he goes to the Coast to pick coffee beans during harvest time. As a humble family, our current needs are corn and groceries. We grow corn for our family`s consumption but sometimes it is not enough for us. At the moment, we continue attending the Life Source Church every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. We are grateful to the LW evangelism team for their encouraging words to my mother during the visit. So, we are sure of our salvation in Jesus. Thank God, my family and I are in good health.

I am Deri Adelso Rene Sut Portuguez. I am 7 years old. Unfortunately, this year I am repeating 1^st grade at school. I receive face-to-face classes every day and I am learning a lot with this study method because sometimes it is so difficult to do the homework. I hope to pass my grade this year with God`s help. Thank God, my father is making an effort to support my siblings and me at school in spite of the school fees being so expensive and that he does not have a stable job. Sometimes, it is very difficult to cover every expense. My favorite celebration of the year is Christmas because our custom is to eat “tamales” (a typical dish). I like to drink “atol de masa” (a hot beverage made of corn flour). I do not celebrate my birthday because of a lack of financial resources. Among sports, I like to play soccer. My family is grateful to Living Water because I receive the meals, medical and dental attention, and spiritual support. I want to say thank you for the Christmas gift that you sent to me at the end of the year. May God bless you greatly!
