My Story

Hello! My full name is Jennifer Magaly Diego Ramirez and I am so happy for having the opportunity to let you know a little bit about my life. I am 12 years old and I am doing my best at school as a fifth-grade student. I prefer the hot weather rather than cold because it is perfect to play with water. I have attended the feeding program for about ten years. The medical care and food that I have received there have been a great blessing not only for me, but for my family too. May God continue blessing this charity organization! After school, I usually help my mother to clean our house or wash the dishes. She is in good health and works hard in a plant nursery to support my siblings and me.

She established a relationship with a good man a while ago. He is my stepfather now, and since he moved to live with us, he has helped us with the expenses. He is doing well and makes a living as a mason. We all together attend the Catholic Church and participating in the holy mass motivates us to persevere. I am grateful to brother Emanuel (a member of the LW staff) because he encouraged my mother and me to take care of our salvation and continue attending church. It is almost time to say goodbye, but I want you to know that my mother helped me to compose this letter. While we were working on it, she told me that she has assurance of going to heaven because she is God’s daughter. Until next time!
