My Story

It is my pleasure to greet you in the name of Jesus hoping you are fine with your lovely family! Praise the Lord my family and I attend Catholic Church; we go on Sundays. We appreciate so much the encouraging words that LW staff gave us this time. I am so thankful to God because my family and I are healthy. My father is Juan Fernando Cordova Garcia, and he is 47 years old. However, he abandoned us, and we do not receive any support from him. My mother is Deima Fabiola Gil Cachupe, and she is 30 years old. She does the duties at home, and she also works in the health center by doing cleaning. My pet is a dog.

I am Christopher Alexander Cordova Gil, and I am a 14-year-old boy. I attend 7^th grade; since I receive classes at school, my learning has improved a lot. Nowadays, school supplies are very expensive, and it is hard for my family to cover all the home expenses because of a lack of resources. My dream is to become a doctor and I know that I need to work hard to accomplish my goal. The language I would like to learn is English; it is so interesting. The sport I like the most is football. I like sodas, especially Coca-Cola which is my favorite one. I like Christmas time because of the firecrackers; I light some of them and I have a lot of fun with my family. I get so happy when my birthday comes, my family celebrates with a lunch at home and we enjoy it together. My family and I are so thankful for all the support I receive through Living Water; I am so blessed to be part of the program. At home, the top priority is groceries.
