I greet you affectionately through this, and I hope our Heavenly Father is taking care of you! This time LW staff shared the gospel with us and encouraged us to look for a church and seek God; we appreciate the advice. We are fairly well at home, but I want you to pray for my mother’s health. She suffers from high blood pressure; she has visited a doctor and is taking medicine for it. My mother is Evelyn Marilu Munoz Alvarez, and she is 31 years old. She tries to help my father with the income by cleaning houses for other people. My father is Carlos Francisco Ixchop Chiroy, and he is 44 years old. He makes a living by cleaning cars in the street; he does not earn very much. My pet is a cat.
I am Carlos Maximiliano Ixchop Munoz, and I am a 16-year-old boy. I attend 9th grade student; since I receive classes at school my learning has improved, and I like to meet up with my classmates. Supporting my siblings and me at school is hard for my parents because of a lack of resources, especially now that everything has increased. My dream is to study hard so that I become an accountant. Let me tell you, the language that catches my attention is English, so I want to learn it. I enjoy riding my bicycle in my spare time, and I have a lot of fun. I like sodas, especially Coca-Cola which is my favorite one. Christmas is my favorite season of the year; I love the cheerful environment, and we eat “tamales” (a typical dish) at home. My parents invite me to go out on my birthday, if possible. I take this opportunity to give thanks for all the support I receive through Living Water; the meals are a great blessing for me, and it is an economic savings for my family. At home, the primary needs are groceries and a wardrove. Well, this is all for now. Every kind of blessing to you!
Huge hugs,
Carlos Maximiliano Ixchop Munoz
