I send you warm greetings through this letter, and I thank you in advance for reading it. This is Katerin Maritza, and I am happy because I am in 8th grade this year; I am studying in the morning. I take time to read and help with the household chores on weekends. I have been blessed with grocery bags and medical attention through Living Water, and my favorite dish at the feeding program is Chinese fried rice. I am in good health, and I can attend LW clinics when I feel bad. I enjoy the Christmas celebration at the program because the staff does beautiful things for us full of love.
My father works in a carwash while my mother works as a maid; she is suffering from high blood pressure, but at the moment, she is not taking medicine due to our low resources. Our economic situation is not good, but my parents do their best to support my siblings and me with our studies. My mother has stopped buying her medicine in order to buy us what we need at school. We are all grateful for the support received through LW Ministries. At the moment, my family and I are not attending a church. I end my letter by asking for your prayers for my family since we are recovering from my paternal grandmother’s loss. I say goodbye to you for now hoping to hear from you soon.
With much love
Katerin Maritza Ixchop Munoz
