Many greetings from Guatemala City! This is Cristian Daniel Morales Tay and I am so happy to write this letter to let you know a little bit about my latest news. I am 13 years old and I am doing my best at school as a seventh-grade student. Fortunately, I am in good health. After coming back from school, I usually sweep and mop the floor. Here in Guatemala, we only have two marked seasons: rainy and dry. I prefer rainy because it is more pleasant. I have attended the feeding program for about five years. Before having my meals, I usually receive Bible lessons. I like them so much because I learn new Bible texts. I live with my grandmother, father, and older sister. Thankfully, we are in good health. My father has a stable job as a driving instructor to bring food home. While he goes to work, my grandmother takes care of us.
Unfortunately, I do not have my mother with me because she abandoned our family. My father has done his best to encourage us and make us feel loved and cared for in order to assimilate the hard situation that we had to passed through. Could you please pray for us? Our financial situation is not going well, but we are sure that God will help us to move forward. My family and I do not attend any church at the moment. Therefore, brother Juan Carlos (a member of the LW staff) recently shared a lovely message from the Bible with my father as an encouragement to look for God. He appreciates the spiritual assistance and the medical and dental care that I can receive for free. Therefore, he prays that God will bless all those who support this organization for having generous hearts and that He will keep them all healthy and safe. I will leave you now, but I want you to know that my father helped me to compose this letter. Until next time!
With much love,
Cristian Daniel Morales Tay
