My Story

Hello and greetings. I am Antonio presenting my updated story to you through the questions I am answering to the team of Adopt a Child Pogradec

I am doing well regarding health, even that the doctors have examined that I have started to have besides a few allergic problems, several other issues in my heart and lungs. They are not too serious at present and the doctors have not given to me any medical treatment. I am 12 years old and my birthday is on July 11^th. My favorite color is blue and my future dream is to become a soccer player. I love playing soccer and watch matches on TV. I am a fun of Real Madrid team of soccer. I spend the first part of my day frequenting school. At present I go to sixth grade. I am doing my best to study and my favorite subject at school is Mathematics. During the lesson breaks of ten or 30 minutes, the friends of my class and I spend time to fellowship and we have a lot of fun and play games. After school, I meet again to play football with my friends. We go to play in the school field, which is near my house, but from time to time, we chose to play in the road, in front of my house. I spend a while helping my parents in the house and I do some cleaning, shopping and I care for my brother Xhuliano who is the youngest in our family. He is three here years old. I like to sit down and play together with him with his car toys or we sit together to watch cartoons. I have another brother whose name is Damjan. He is 8 years old and goes to third grade of school. He and I frequent the same school so during the long break we meet together and enjoy the pack lunch that we have taken from home or buy chips.  He is dong well with his lessons and I help him too when he has difficulties doing the school homework. During the day, in my free time I like to have walks by the lake together with my friends or family. I also enjoy watching movies or performances for children and youth on Television.

Our family contains six members. Our home is quite new and offers appropriated living conditions to us. Our house is two stories high because the family of my uncle and my family live in the same building. My father is working as welder. He is a mechanic as well and has a full time job. My father has his own car that he uses for transportation as well as for his job. My mother is not working. She is yet too busy doing the housekeeping and carrying for us, children during the day. In the same time, she is carrying for both my grandparents who live with us. Her day is busy doing cooking, cleaning, washing, doing shopping, bringing my brother to kindergarten and walking him back home, etc. My grandparents are both receiving small pensions from their previous jobs and they deliver their pensions to my parents who care to supply for their living needs. We live with low income and our needs are many. My brothers and I are registered in the sponsorship program of Adopt a Child and we benefit food packages, clothes as well as Biblical educations. My mother comes to the church services and she is also frequenting a Bible study for ladies on Saturdays. We are blessed to be part of the church and program. Thank you for your care and provision.
