My Story

Hello! This is Mario Rolando Lara Gomez and I feel blessed to tell you that I have attended the Feeding Program for 5 years. My mother registered me due to the faith in Jesus they have and the benefits for free. She wants to express her gratitude for the support, teachings and prayers that I get there because it has been a great blessing in my life.

Thankfully, I am in good health. I am sixteen and I am in 8^th grade this year. I study at night in a public school from my village.  I help to do some errands and I wash dishes at home. My favorite weather is cold. I live with my parents and they are in good health. Nowadays, my mother is a stay-at-home-mom, but sometimes she cleans houses for others to get some income. My father continues selling plants in different places because he is a street vendor to provide for our needs. We are members of the Catholic Church and we enjoy the teachings. We help in every activity and we also visit sick people.  We are secure in our salvation because we struggle to be good people every day, but the LW teacher shared the gospel to my mother and told her that we receive salvation only through the love and mercy of God. My mother helped to collect this information and the teacher prayed for health for my family. Thank you for your attention. I will say good bye to you for now. I love you so much!
