My Story

This is Domingo Estuardo Perez Gomez, and I am writing this to update my 2023 information. First, I will tell you about my family. We are members of King of the Centuries Church, and we attend the services twice a week. We have accepted Jesus in our hearts, and we are assured of our salvation. We have hens and pigs at home, and we grow corn for our consumption. We are a humble family, and our greatest needs are groceries, shoes and clothes. My father’s name is Ramos. He is 46 years old, and he is in good health. He works as a day laborer to cover the home expenses. My mother’s name is Martina. She is 38 years old, and she is in good health too. She works as a day laborer to help my father with the income.

Now let me tell you a little about myself. I am 12 years old, and I am healthy. I am in 5^th grade, and I am happy to receive face-to-face classes because I learn more and meet new friends. It has been difficult for my father to cover my school expenses, but he is doing his best. I want to have my own store in the town when I am older. My favorite celebration is Holy Week because I go to visit my grandfather. My family prepares “tamales” and we eat cake for my birthday. I prefer soccer as a sport, and I love drinking coffee. I would like to learn English language someday. Living Water is very important in my life, and I am grateful for the food and medicine for free. I hope to hear from you soon.
