My Story

This is Domingo Eduardo Tzunux Garcia, and I am writing this to update my 2023 information. First, I will tell you about my family. We are not attending a church, so LW Evangelism team shared the gospel with us and encouraged us to seek a church. Thanks to their words, my mother accepted Jesus in her heart. We have hens and pigs at home, and we grow corn for our consumption. We are a humble family, and our needs are groceries. My mother’s name is Irma. She is 37 years old, and she is in good health. She works hard at home and takes care of us. My father’s name is Manuel. He is 35 years old, and he is in good health. He returned from the United States at the end of the last year, and he is now working as a day laborer in our town.

Now let me tell you a little about myself. I am 11 years old, and I am healthy. I am in fifth grade, and I am happy to receive face-to-face classes because I learn more. It has been difficult for my father to cover my school expenses because he does not earn much money. I want to get a good job when I am older in order to help my family financially. My favorite celebration is Christmas because we prepare “tamales” and light fireworks. I eat “tamales” and break a “piñata” for my birthday. I prefer soccer as a sport, and I love drinking coffee. I would like to learn English language someday. Living Water is very important in my life, and I am blessed with food and medical attention. I hope to hear from you soon.
