Hello! I am Damaris Marisel, and I am writing these few lines to tell you about my family and me. Let’s start with my family. My parents are working hard to cover our needs. My father is working as a mason, and thank God, he is in good health. My mother earns some money by making and selling tortillas. She is suffering from diabetes, so she has to take medicine to control it; please keep her in your prayers. My mom told me that she was part of the feeding program when she was a child, and she loved the lunches because they were delicious. For this reason, she wanted my siblings and me to enjoy this experience too.
This year, I am in 10th grade, and it is the first year of my training in biological sciences. Thankfully, I am in good health. I am 17 years old now, and I have been attending the feeding program since I was about 11 years old. When I am at home, I help with all the chores. I prefer the cold weather because you can do your activities more easily. We are not attending a church, but we know that we have to look for God, be better day by day and preach His word so that we can enter His Kingdom someday. I close my letter asking for your prayers for my mother. I say goodbye to you for now.
Cordially yours
Damaris Marisel Caal Subuyuj
