My Story

I greet you lovingly, hoping you are doing well. This is Azucena Guadalupe and I want to share my last news with you. I hope you find them engaging. My family and I attend a Christian Church called Feeding the Faith every Sunday. I am glad and grateful to LW because a teacher of the evangelism team shared the gospel with my mother. He also used that moment to collect all my news for you. The feeding program has been a blessing for us. My sister and I have received delicious food and medical and dental care. My mother, Flor Diaz, is 39 years old. She works hard by selling shoes on the edges of the road. Sadly, my biological father abandoned us many years ago. We heard he passed away because of cirrhosis. My stepfather, Leopoldo Osorio, is 45 years old. He has done his best to help my mother economically. He still works in a sawmill as a guard. Fortunately, we are in good health. I would love to count on your prayers for my family and me. We would love to have our own house someday. We also need groceries.

I am twelve years old and this year, I am in sixth grade. I agree to receive face-to-face classes because I learn the lessons much better. Unfortunately, our economic resources are limited and because of that, my mother and her partner have trouble buying my school supplies. I would love to become a teacher when I am older. I love going for walks, especially if it is sunny. Because of that, summer is my favorite season. Besides speaking Spanish, I would love to learn a new language like English. My favorite soft drink is Pepsi and I love soccer. I enjoy celebrating birthday, especially if it is mine. My parents struggle to buy a delicious cake to celebrate birthdays at home. To end this letter, I want you to know that I have one dog as a pet. I hope to tell you more about it soon.

Cordiality yours,

Azucena Guadalupe Juarez Diaz
