My Story

It is a pleasure to greet you again today. It is your sponsored child, Nehemias Natanael Luis Toj. I am 6 years old now, and I am in kindergarten this year. I go to school in the mornings, and after school, I go home to help my mother with the housework and chores. I enjoy going to the feeding program each week. I love all the food they serve us. It is a blessing to be able to receive a free lunch and free medicine when we need it. They also do a Christmas celebration with us. This is always so special, and I look forward to all the activities we do. My father’s name is Cesar Luis Panjol. He is a farmer and laborer for the people in my community. He works hard to support my family with what he earns. My mother’s name is Marcela Toj Benito. She is a stay-at-home mom. She works hard to take care of the house, and she also raises chickens to sell.

We also grow corn at home, but we do not sell this. We cultivate this for our own use. As a family, we have attended the Catholic church for many years. My parents are both a part of the board of directors at church. They are very strong believers, and they love the Lord. My mother said that she believes in Jesus with all her heart, praise God. I say goodbye now, but I hope you will pray for the health and wellness of my family. I send you many kisses and hugs. Thank you for reading about me today. I hope to write you again soon.
