My Story

It is such a pleasure to greet you by means of this letter. I hope you are keeping well and having success in everything you do. I am pleased to tell you that thanks to your loving support through LW-Adopt A Child, I have received warm meals, medicine, and dental care for free. I am Nehemias Natanael Luis Toj and I have attended the feeding program for about four years. My mother enrolled my brother and me there because she wanted us to enjoy the benefits just like she could do when she was a child. What she liked the most was having fried chicken for lunch. Today, she is a busy housewife, while my father is dedicated to working as a farmer and day laborer. Thankfully, my whole family and I are healthy.

I am 8 years old and I am in first grade at school. I like going to the river when it is hot. At home, I usually help my mother to do some household chores. The music catches my attention, so I would like to learn how to play an instrument to serve at church. My family and I attend the Catholic Church. Since we accepted Jesus in our hearts, we desire to learn more and more about Him. Because of that and the fellowship, we feel motivated to go there. All the blessings we have received are only by God’s mercy. We cannot stop thanking God for giving us a new road to get home easily. It is time to say goodbye, but I send you huge hugs.
