My Story

Hello, everybody! My name is Eva Cornelia Gonzalez Figueroa and I am so happy to share my latest news with you through this letter. I am 14 years old and I am in eighth grade at school. The weather that I like the most is cold because it is comfortable. When I stay home, I usually help my mother to wash the clothes and clean my bedroom. I have attended the feeding program for about five years, which has been a great blessing. My mother enrolled me there because she wanted me to enjoy delicious food and engaging activities just like she did when she was a child. Today, she is a healthy housewife and takes me to New Jerusalem Church.

We feel motivated to persevere there because we feel welcomed. We have assurance about being admitted into Heaven because God created us. Brother Emanuel (a member of the LW staff) recently encouraged us to keep going by praying and reading the gospel. About my father, I tell you that he makes a living as a farmer and started to help me financially recently. It is time to say goodbye, but I kindly ask you to pray for my family so that God keeps us healthy just like we have been doing. Until next time!
