Hello! I send you warm greetings from Xoljib, the village where I live. I am Encarnacion Melisa, and I tell you that I am fine; I attend LW Clinics when I need medical attention. I am 9 years old, and I am in 3rd grade this year; I attend school in the morning. On weekends, I work as a day laborer with my neighbors. Christmas is close, and I enjoy this time because I receive a present at the feeding program. I live far away from the program, but it is a blessing for me to attend it because I receive many benefits thanks to your support; I love the stew served there.
I would like to ask for your prayers for my father’s health and our economy because it has been affected. My dad works as a farmer or day laborer, but he is not working regularly because he is suffering from strong headaches. He has not visited a doctor nor is he taking medicine due to the lack of money. My mom is working as a farmer and day laborer to help a little with the income. We have grown corn and black beans for our consumption, and we raise hens, turkeys and one pig for selling. We are attending an Evangelical Church, and my mom is one of the deaconesses. We are all assured of our Salvation. I hope you are fine and healthy wherever you are.
Kisses and hugs
Encarnacion Melisa de la Cruz Garcia
