My Story

I greet you in the name of Jesus and I hope you have a blessed and beautiful day. I want to tell you a little about my family and me through this little letter. About me: I am Jessica Carolina Candelaria Barrera Calachij and I am 13 years old. I am a healthy girl. I am in 6^th grade at school this year. I am studying in the mornings. I help my mother doing chores at home on weekends. LW has blessed my family and my life through the delicious meals for lunch like the fried chicken that I love eating. In addition, they help us with medicines through the medical clinic and spiritual support. I enjoyed receiving the special gift during the Christmas celebration at the Feeding Center in December. My family is grateful for every benefit that I have received from the Ministry.

About my family: My mother`s name is Maria Calachij Franco. She lives with us and she is a healthy woman. Currently, she continues raising hens to sell and get some income and sometimes the hens are for our consumption. She accepted Jesus in her heart 10 years ago. My father`s name is Gregorio Barrera Simaj. He lives with the family. He is in good health. He accepted Jesus in her heart 10 years ago.  At the moment, he is working as a contractor in a farm.  Moreover, he travels to the coast every 15 days to cut sugar cane in order to provide for our economic needs. In addition, he grows corn for us. As a family, we continue attending the Church of Christ. The LW team encouraged my father to continue seeking God during the visit and we are grateful for their words. I ask for your prayers for provision and health over my family.
