My Story

First, allow me to thank you for being part of this beautiful project and for giving me the opportunity to participate in it. This is Leonardo Cruz Grave. I am 16 years old now. I no longer attend school. I spend time shepherding sheep. I have had the privilege of attending the feeding program for ten years. I feel blessed to receive my meal at school. I live in the mountain. Sometimes, it is cold and other times it is hot, but I like both kinds of weather. I love attending the feeding program.

My parents want to express their gratitude for each blessing that you share with us. Thank God, they are doing great and everyone is healthy. My father still works farming the land and does other odd jobs. He also travels to the coast three times a year for 2 months each time during the coffee harvest. We go with him at the end of year. My mother stays at home doing the chores. She raises and sells hens and goats in order to improve our income. My family attends an evangelical church called Prince of Peace. Here, we have learned about the word of God, and we can attend together as a family. An evangelism teacher shared the gospel with my mother and encouraged her to continue trusting in God. I pray that God multiplies the blessings you share with us. Please take care of yourself.
