My Story

I am excited to greet and introduce myself to you through this letter. My name is Gabriela Gomez Mateo, and this is my story. I am 13 years old and attend school in the morning. I am in third grade. On weekends, I usually help my mom to do the chores. I also feed our hens and pigs. I am happy to have delicious lunches at the feeding program. I particularly enjoy eating fried chicken there. Christmastime is the best because the staff organizes engaging activities and blesses me with gifts.

As for health, let me tell you that my whole family and I are doing great. My father is a day laborer. He works hard to support our needs and expenses. My mom is a busy housewife. She grows and sells our hens to contribute at home with her income. We do not attend a church for now. However, we are planning to do it soon. We are grateful for the encouraging words that a teacher of LW gave us. He also shared God’s word with my mom, which was great for her. She took advantage of providing all this information to the teacher to share it with you. I end with this letter wishing you all the best for your family and you.
