My Story

This is Jennifer Mishel Chingo Calachij, and I am writing this to update my 2023 information. First, I will tell you about my family. We are still members of Prince of Peace Church, and we attend the services twice a week. We have accepted Jesus in our hearts, and we are assured of our Salvation. We have hens at home, and we sometimes sell them. We grow corn, and it is for our consumption. We are a humble family, and our needs are groceries. My father’s name is Elias. He is 38 years old, and he is in good health. He works as a farmer to support the family. My mother’s name is Juana. She is 30 years old, and she is in good health too. She works hard at home and tends her small grocery store.

Now let me tell you a little about myself. I am 13 years old, and I am healthy. I am in 6^th grade, and I am happy to receive face-to-face classes because it is easier to learn my lessons. It has been difficult for my parents to cover my school expenses. I want to become a teacher or nurse when I am older. My favorite celebration is Holy Week because I enjoy going to the rivers. I would like to receive a cake on my birthday. I prefer soccer as a sport, and I love drinking strawberry juice and Coca-Cola. It would be incredible to learn English someday. Living Water is very important in my life, and I am grateful for the delicious food received. I hope to hear from you soon.
