My Story

I fondly greet you, hoping you and your loved ones are keeping well. This is your sponsored child Nailyn Yuriana Chivalan Gutierrez and I am pleased to tell you that I have attended the feeding program for about three years. What I like the most is praying before having my meals. Thank you so much for all the benefits I receive there. I tell you that my parents had the opportunity to be part of LW-Adopt A Child. They told me that they had a nice childhood there because they enjoyed the soccer championships and received nice Christmas gifts. Thanks to the Lord’s mercy, we are a healthy family. My father continues working at a restaurant in the United States to provide us with the essentials. He is in touch with us and told us that his job consists of cooking.

On the other hand, my mother dedicates her full time to taking care of my little brother and me. We are members of the New Jerusalem Church and feel motivated to go there because they treat us like part of a big family. What I like the most is attending the Sunday Bible school. I am 8 years old and I am in first grade. I usually wash the dishes and sweep to contribute to the household chores. I prefer hot rather than cold weather because I like playing with water. To end this letter, I tell you that sister Yesenmia (a member of the LW staff) recently shared the gospel with my mother in order to help her to be assured about her salvation and remind her that accepting Jesus in our hearts is the main key to being admitted into Heaven.
