My Story

Hello! I greet you from the bottom of my heart and wish you a happy and brilliant day. I want to share some news about my family and me. I am Encarnacion Wilson Grave Garcia, and I am 5 years old. I want to let you know that we are attending the Charismatic Group that belongs to the Catholic Church every Tuesday and Friday. We are grateful to the LW evangelism team who encouraged my mother to seek God and attend the church during the visit, so she has already Jesus in her heart. I am not attending school due to my young age, but I like to play with balls and toy cars at home. My dream is to become the best farmer. My native language is the Quiche Mayan dialect, so I would like to learn Spanish and improve my communication with others. My favorite celebration of the year is Christmas because my mother prepares “tamales” (a typical dish). “Mosh” (a typical hot drink made with oatmeal) is my favorite beverage. About sports, I prefer soccer. I want to tell you that I do not celebrate my birthday due to a lack of financial resources. Thank God, my family and I are in good health.

My mother`s name is Rosa Garcia De La Cruz. She is 23 years old. Nowadays, she continues doing chores at home and takes care of the family. Moreover, she raises hens and a pig to sell and get some income. My father`s name is Encarnacion Grave Tziquin. He is 35 years old. Currently, he continues working as a farmer and day laborer. In addition, he travels to the coast to do farming. We grow corn for our family`s consumption. We are a humble family, and our current needs are groceries and corn. We are grateful to Living Water because we have been blessed with meals, medical and dental care and spiritual support. I want to say thank you for the special gifts that you sent to me with much love. Thank you for everything you have done for me. May God bless you greatly!

Kisses and hugs,

Encarnacion Wilson Grave Garcia
