My Story

Hello, I hope you are well today. I know God has brought you to read my information for a reason. I hope you enjoy learning a little bit about me. My name is Abel Ovidio Castro Tzoy. I am nine years old. I was so happy to pass first grade last year. This was a huge accomplishment for me, and I was so grateful. I know God helped me to know the answers and do well on my homework and in school. He is always faithful. I am in second grade now, but we are almost done with the school year. I am excited to have a break from school and hopefully go to third grade next year. I have a best friend named Juan. We love playing soccer together. I am happy he is my friend. My family is doing well and we are healthy. I want to tell you a little bit about them. My mom’s name is Juana Tzoy Chanchavac. She is a housewife. She stays home to do the chores and housework, and she always takes care of me. She also takes care of our animals and chickens. When they grow up, she sells them in the market to make some extra money for our family. My older brother also helps to make some money for us, but my dad is the one who provides for us the most. His name is Eusebio Castro Tiquiram. He works as a farmer.

He is so important to me because sometimes he plays soccer with me, which is so much fun. My family does not go to church anymore. We used to go to church, but my mom didn’t want to go anymore. But she was encouraged by the Living Water teachers to continue seeking the Lord and to find a good church to go to. She was grateful for this encouragement because now she wants to start going to church again. I hope we do. I know about Jesus and God. I know that Jesus is the Savior of the world. I love learning about the Bible stories. My mom wants to make her faith deeper and stronger again. I’m going to say goodbye for now. I hope you liked my letter. I loved being able to share some information with you. I send many big hugs and lots of love.

Many blessings,

Abel Ovidio Castro Tzoy
