My Story

Hello! My name is Florije Peci. I am 34 years old, and my birthday is on January 15th. I live in the village of Katjel. There are six people in my family. I live together with my brothers family in an old house which doesn't offer us appropriate living conditions. My brother's wife takes care of me. I have a daughter one daughter. I have been part of the program in Katjel, attended school and finished high school, and then attended university. While we were on an excursion, our bus had an accident, where two people died,  and I was injured critically and was brought into a hopsital in another country. While I was still in the hospital in a very critical health condition, I was sexually abused and became pregnant. After nine months I gave birth to a child. My family gave me a hard time, but one brother and his wife took care of me. My daughter now attends the program in Katjel. My brother's family, I myself and my daughter attend regularly the meetings of the Living Water Adopt a Child Church in Katjel. 

The Living Water Adopt a Child Church in Katjel holds several meetings throughout the week. During the week there are children's meetings, a youth meeting and a ladies Bible study meeting. The children stay, after they studied the Bible and prayed, a little bit longer in the program and have some fellowship and play together ball and other games. We recieve a food package that contais items such as rice, oil, pasta, sugar etc., things that can be cooked at home and serve for ten to twelve meals for the whole family.
