Hello! I am Juana Jimena Gonzalez Chitic and I am so happy to share my latest news with you through this letter. I am 11 years old and fortunately, I am in good health. Between cold and hot weather, I prefer cold because it is refreshing. I attend the fifth grade at school and I usually wash the dishes and sweep to contribute to the household chores. Unfortunately, my family and I do not attend any church. I tell you that my father traveled to the United States a few years ago. I am glad because he is keeping well and has a stable job at a restaurant. He makes a living by washing the dishes. He supports our family needs and keeps in touch with us every two days. I have my mother with me and fortunately, she is healthy. She dedicates her time to embroidering typical blouses and raising chickens to sell. I tell you that I have attended the feeding program for about seven years.
I like receiving Bible lessons before eating because I pray alongside other children. My parents felt motivated to enroll me in LW-Adopt A Child because my father enjoyed many benefits there when he was a child. He is grateful to this organization for blessing my life with delicious food and medical attention. It is time to say goodbye, but I want you to know that my mother helped me to provide all this information to a member of the LW staff so you could hear from me. Until next time!
With much love,
Juana Jimena Gonzalez Chitic
