Widow/Widower
Hello! My name is Anila Piperi. I am 43 years old, and my birthday is on September 15th. Speaking about my health, I am taking medicine for blood pressure and I had also anxiety, but I took medication only for a short while to get through it. I am married and have four children, two boys and two girls. My oldest daughter is mentally ill. She is 21 years old. My boys are 23 and 18 years old and my other daughter is 14 years old. My husband has died before 8 years. He suffered for many years from his kidneys, and I was carrying for him as well as for my daughter who is mentally ill. When my husband died, we started to be short in our income, and I am receiving social assistance from the government while I am not able to work, due to being close to my daughter. She needs me all the time to care for her needs in her condition. My daughter receives an invalid pension, which is basically used to cover her medication and visits to the doctors. My son, who is 18 years old started working as waiter so he can help us in our needs and my other son is same as his father, he is a musician and play in weddings, joining a band. My youngest daughter is still in school, and I am doing my best to follow her up while she studies. Speaking about my daily activities, I am constantly in the house looking after my daughter who is ill. I take her to a special care center only for a few hours, two days a week. When she is there, I do my best to check up with cleaning, shopping etc. When she is not attending the carrying center, I take her with me, and we walk together to do shopping. She is a happy lady and likes to be out a lot. I tried last year to get a part time job, but I was able to work a month only. From that time on, I am not thinking any longer about getting a job, because I know how much my daughter needs me. Thankfully we have our house and we pay no rent. Being very busy during the day, I am gathering myself to take my own time and space. I like to go out for walks and see my friends. My daughter is in the program of Adopt a Child. She comes to the church services together with me. She gets happy while we sing to worship the Lord and in the same time, she stays quiet during the church service. I am happy that Adopt a Child has helped me and my daughter with food packages as well as clothes constantly. Thank you for reading about me and thank you from my heart for your care and support in our needs. God bless you!
