My Story

PENDING PHOTO 2024

Hello, I am delighted to greet you through this letter and I hope you and your lovely family are doing well! This is Gerardo Maximiliano Garcia Ruiz. I will turn 9 years old this October. This year I am repeating 1st grade and I take my classes on the morning shift. In the afternoon, I help my mother tending the store. I like to watch TV programs. I do it on weekends, when I have more time. My father makes a living by working as a merchant and driving a tuk-tuk. Thanks to his job, we have what we need at home. My mother does the chores at home and tends the grocery store. We raise hens for selling and cultivate corn for our livelihood.

I love the Christmas celebration that Living Water prepares in the feeding program every year; the carols are very nice. I thank God for blessing me with food and medicines for free through the program; it is so helpful for me. The food I love the most from the program is burger patties. My parents have welcomed Jesus into their hearts and we attend Prince of Peace Church. We appreciate the encouraging words that the evangelism teacher gave us this time to continue seeking God. I would appreciate it if you could keep my family in your prayers, especially for our well-being. Let me tell you that my mother gave this information to the LW staff to share news about me. For now, that is all. Every kind of blessing over you!

Special regards,

Gerardo Maximiliano Garcia Ruiz
