I greet you in Jesus’ name hoping you are doing well wherever you are. My name is Alica Elida, and this is my history. I am 12 years old, and I am a healthy girl. I am attending school, and I am in 4th grade. I tell you that one of my hardest experiences has been my parents’ separation; I have seen how my mother has struggled to support us and it makes me feel sad. I keep praying for my mom so that God gives her the strength to go ahead with us. I have learned about Jesus who is my faithful friend. Four years ago, I met Wendy Garcia, and we became friends; we like spending time together during the recess at school. I identity a lot with my mom because she takes care of me; she helped me with this letter.
At the beginning of this year, my mother started to suffer from swelling in her hands, but she has not visited a doctor due to our low resources; she is only self-medicating. Please pray for her since she is the only family supporter; we are always in need of groceries and basic things. My mother keeps doing the housework and raising hens to earn some money. About my father, I do not have any kind of information. As a family, we are attending Assembly of God Church, and we love it when there are vigils and fasting services. We are secure in our Salvation, and LW Evangelism team has encouraged us to continue trusting in God. I hope you find my letter interesting.
Cordially yours
Alicia Elida Toj Garcia
