Hello! My name is Roni, and I want to share with you part of my life. I would like to start it asking for your prayers for my mother because my father has abandoned us, and now she is the only one who has to cover all the family needs. She is earning a living by weaving typical clothes and raising hens and pigs for selling. Thankfully, she is in good health. About my father, we do not have any information. My oldest sister, Jacinta, sometimes goes to work in Guatemala City, and she helps my mother with the home income. Currently, we are not attending a church, so LW Evangelism team took advantage of their visit to share the gospel with us and encourage my mom to look for a church; she helped me to give my information to them and she is grateful for their words.
Thankfully, I am in good health, and I am 10 years old. I am attending 3rd grade this year, and I am doing my best; after classes, I help to gather firewood. I tell you that I like sunny days because I can go to swim in the river. I have been attending the feeding program for about 5 years, and I like the Bible classes because I learn about God’s Word. My mother was motivated to register me at the program because of the delicious meals. She is very grateful to you for blessing me in that way, and she prays God blesses you in a big way. Well, this is all for now, and I hope to have news from you soon.
Sincerely yours
Roni Armando de la Cruz Barrera
