Hello! I am so happy to write this letter to you. This is Walter Rodriguez Gutierrez and I feel blessed for telling you a little about my life. I am a healthy 8-year-old boy. I love playing soccer with my friends. I attend school as a first grader again. I receive classes on the morning shift. I am doing my best to pass the grade. On weekends, I help my mom to look for firewood on the field. Fortunately, my whole family is in good health. My mother is dedicated to the household chores and selling herbs and chickens to help my father with expenses. We harvest our own corn for our consumption. My father is still making a living by tending a grocery store. He visits us every three months. I beg you to pray for my whole family and me. We are passing through a challenging economic situation. One of our greatest needs is food.  

We have been members of a Christian Church for many years. My mom welcomed Jesus as her Savior. She appreciates that a teacher of the LW evangelism team encouraged her to trust in God. We took advantage of that opportunity to give her all this information so you could hear from me. LW-Adopt A Child has blessed me so much with food. I enjoy having fried chicken so much for lunch at the feeding program. That is really delicious! I am so happy because Christmas time is near. The LW staff organizes a Christmas celebration annually, where I receive a nice gift and enjoy a special meal at the feeding program.
