My Story

This is Mateo Armando Mendez Garcia and I feel glad to tell you that I have belonged to the Feeding Program for 6 years. My mother enrolled me due to the Christmas gift, medicines and meals for free, and she is grateful to you for blessing my life with the benefits. I like to attend the Bible classes and I pray before eating my delicious meals.

I am eleven years old and I am in second grade this year. I like to help my father by planting in the corn fields. I love cold weather because I love to be fresh. My mother helped the LW teacher to collect all this information and she asked for prayers for our health. We belong to the Prince of Peace Christian Church and we enjoy listening to the word of God. We are secure that Jesus will open heaven for us because he died for our sins. My mother was encouraged by the LW teacher to continue seeking God.

My mother does the chores at home, but she also contributes with some money when she sells her hens. My father sustains the family by working as a farmer and day laborer. They are in good health condition and they live with us. My sister-in-law and my nephew also live in our house. Thank you for your attention.
