My Story

Hello! My full name is Vilma Morente Ajqui, and I thank you for blessing me through LW Adopt-A-Child and the Feeding Program. My father wants to express his gratitude for the benefits I receive. I was registered six years ago due to the meals, medicines and spiritual support with Bible classes. I like to pray before I eat my plate of food in the Project.

I am ten years old and unfortunately, I am repeating the 2^nd grade this year. I help my mother to make tortillas and clean the house. My favorite weather is cold. I am in good health.  I enjoy attending my church with my parents because we belong to the Charismatic Church that belongs to the Catholic Church. We like to sing and listen to the word of God. If someday God asks us: why I must let you enter heaven? We surely will answer him: because we have received your son Jesus in our hearts and we are secure in our salvation. The LW teacher visited my father and he provided all this information. He also received encouraging words to continue seeking God. My father would like to beg for your prayers for God´s protection for our family.

I live with my parents and they are doing their best for us. My father struggles to cover our needs every day by working as a farmer and typical day laborer, but my mother also contributes with some money. She raises and sells her hens. and she also does the household chores and takes care of us. I am thankful to God because they are doing fine. Thank you for reading my news. I love you so much!
