My Story

Hello! My name is Sonila Shabani. I am 31 years old, and my birthday is on June 8th. I am doing well and in good health. I live in Tirana together with my son, because I am divorced. We live in a rented apartment that has appropriated living conditions offered. I work as a cleaning lady, but the income I am able to bring to our family is low and most of the time we have many needs. My son is my everything. I try to do my best to raise him and take care of him, because he suffers from autism. My son's father works in in construction and the income he gets is very low, so he doesn't contribute much for our son needs. The government gives my son a small pensions so that I can cope with the expenses that are needed for him only, but its not enough. I frequent the church of God in Tirana. My son and I are registered in the sponsorship program and we benefit help and care from the program.  I am very thankful to the sponsorship program for the help and care they give to us. The Living Water Adopt a Child church in Tirana gathers every Thursday for the church services. After the worship time, the children go to their separate classes to take the Bible lesson for the day. The widows and children who are in the program of Tirana are receiving a food package. I benefit as well and I am thankful to the Adopt a Child for the food provision. God bless you!
