My Story

Hello! I send you every kind of blessing through this letter. My name is Samara Camila Bala Otzoy and I feel so blessed to belong to the Feeding Center. My mother registered me because the Project blesses me with delicious meals that are cooked with much love and we receive a good treat there. She is thankful for everything.

By the grace of God, my father siblings and I are in good health, but my mother is suffering from diabetes. As you know, she takes her medicines and nowadays, she visits the doctor every three months. She works as a maid and in addition, she sells “tamales” (a typical dish) on Saturdays to earn extra money and support my father with the home expenses while he drives the truck to collect trash. Both of my parents live with us and take care of our family. Currently, my older brothers are working and they also provide for our needs. We continue attending Jesus the Good Shepherd Christian Church, and we like the activities and I love youth group. I like praises. LW teacher encouraged my sister Katerin to continue seeking God and she helped to collect this information. We are assured of our salvation because we seek God and do his will, and someday we will be in heaven. Meanwhile, we need to be obedient and take care of our salvation. LW teacher also prayed for our health and protection upon us. I help do the cleaning at home and I prefer cold weather. I am in 3^rd grade and I am 9 years old. I send you many blessings!
