My Story

Hello Padrino. Warm regards from Leidy Paola Coj Chingo. I am 10 years old. I am a third-grade student. I have had the privilege of attending the feeding program for four years. What I like best is to hear Bible Stories. I am in good health. I help my mother at home feeding the chickens. I love the cold season. I enjoy attending our church.

Thankfully, my family is doing great and everyone is healthy. My stepfather struggles to support the family working as a farmer in a coffee plantation at the Coast. He visits our family every four months, stays with us for a week, and then returns to work. However, he is in touch with us and sends a monthly support. My mother stays at home doing the chores and she earns extra money raising chickens to sell when she needs to. My mother was part of the feeding program when she was young. What she liked best were the soccer games that evangelism teachers organized between the programs. Based on her experience, she decided to send us. We attend the Catholic Church. I ask for your prayers, especially for my brother Jeremias, that God may restore his health. Thank you for taking the time to read my letter. May God bless you!
