My Story

Special regards from Zacualpa village! I want you to know that it is such a blessing to share my updated information with you. Before starting, I want you to know that I have received delicious food and medicine at LW-Adopt A Child, which is a blessing. I am Joel Eleazar Gomez Ruiz and I have attended the feeding program for about four years. What I like the most is learning about God during the Bible lessons that I receive before receiving my meals. I am 8 years old and I am enrolled in second grade at school. When I come back, I usually help my mother with the household chores. I prefer cold weather because I do not like sweating. I live with my brother and parents. Thankfully, we are all in good health. My father makes a living as tuk-tuk taxi driver. He also works as a day laborer and farmer, while my mother takes care of our family. She also sells chickens and pigs that she raises to contribute to the expenses.

We are glad to attend the Full Gospel Church because we can listen to the gospel and help our siblings in Christ with whatever they need. I am pleased to tell you that my parents have the privilege of cleaning the temple. My brother and I usually accompany them and I would like to join them I serving when I grow up. Sister Lizeth (a member of the LW staff) recently asked my father why God should admit him into Heaven. My father thinks that he will be admitted because he accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. He is grateful to LW-Adopt A Child for being on the lookout for our spiritual life. Besides that, he wants you to know that he is grateful for all the benefits that my brother and I can receive there. He also was part of the feeding program. He used to ride his bike to go there, which was fun. It is time to say goodbye, but I hope you enjoyed my letter.
