Hello! It is a blessing to greet you through this letter. I am Francisco Sicajau, and in this opportunity, I want to tell you about my granddaughter, Maritza Izabel Cuin Luis. She is 15 years old, and she has never attended school because she is a girl with special needs. Despite her condition, she enjoys spending time with our family, especially with her cousins and brother. Her favorite games are freeze and ball tags. My family and I think her condition is the most challenging experience we have had. It would be wonderful to understand what she wants to say, but she cannot speak. Fortunately, God has never left us alone. He has given us the encouragement and strength to take care of her in the best possible way.
I want you to know that we recognized her legally because her mother could not do it at that moment. My wife’s name is Margarita Luis. She keeps busy doing the chores, while I work by making wells to bring food home. Let me tell you that my daughter’s name is Sebastiana Sicajau, and she is the biological mother of Maritza. She is a housewife and sells domestic animals grown in the yard to help us with the expenses of her two children, Maritza and Efrain. Today, she has a new partner and two children with him. We all live together in the same house. My wife and children attend a nearby church, but I still do not feel sure to do it. Therefore, a member of the LW staff shared the gospel and encouraged me to do it soon.
This is all for now, but thank you for taking the time to read my granddaughter’s information.
Sincerely yours,
Maritza Izabel Cuin Luis
