My Story

Hello, good afternoon! It is such a pleasure to share my updated information with you through this letter. My full name is Gilmer Yandel Mucia Gutierrez and I am 11 years old. I attend the fourth grade at school and after classes, I have enjoyed delicious meals from LW-Adopt A Child there. My parents really appreciate this blessing and many other benefits that my siblings and I have received, thanks to your generosity. May God bless you! I tell you that I usually help my mother to take care of our crops and look for firewood. My oldest brother and mother work hard by raising chickens and growing edible herbs or cabbages to sell at the market.

I tell you that I do not have my father with me because he traveled to the United States many years ago. However, I am glad because he has a stable job in a farm by taking care of the cattle. He calls us every two days and sends us financial support, too. I tell you that my family and I accepted Jesus as our savior many years. As proof of his loving care, my whole family and I are healthy. We are members of the Pentecostal Church Prince of Peace. My family and I are glad to be part of this church because we can count on our siblings in Christ to receive encouragement when we need it the most. What catches my attention the most is being a musician to serve at church, so please pray for my future. It is time to say goodbye, but I hope to hear from you soon. May God bless you!
