My Story

Blessings to you in this wonderful day! My name is Oscar Diego Jhony Benito Lindo and I have belonged to the Feeding Program for two years. My mother told me that her neighbors told her about the great job that LW Adopt-A-Child was doing to bless many needy children. Nowadays, my whole family is thankful for every benefit for free that I get in the Program. I also like to listen to the histories from Bible because I also attend the Bible classes after my lunch time.

My favorite weather is hot because I love to eat ice creams and “granizadas” (shaved ice with fruit flavor) when it is possible to buy them. I am 6 years old and I am in kindergarten. I enjoy attending the Sunday School from my church due to the Bible stories. My church`s name is “Ebenezer”, and along with my family, we love to learn the word of God in the services.

We trust God because we have seen his great work in our family and someday, we will be in heaven. The LW teacher encouraged my mother to continue trusting him. She shared this information and the teacher also prayed for provision and health for us. My mother is a stay-at-home-mom and she raises hens and pigs to sell and get some income to support my father with the home expenses. My father continues earning a living as a farmer and doing farm jobs. Thankfully, my whole family and I are in good health. I hope you and your family are well and blessed when my letter reaches you.
