My Story

Dear Sponsor: I hope you are doing great! I have been thinking about you and wanted to send you a big hug in this letter. Please receive warm regards from your sponsored child Salvador Alexander Ruiz Matias. I have grown a little this year, and thank God, I am healthy. I am 9 years old now. I like to attend school and I am doing my best. I am a happy third-grade student. I have had the privilege of attending the feeding program for two years. My chore at home is to feed the chickens. I love the hot season because I do not like to wear a sweater.

I am grateful to have hardworking parents who do their best to give us a better life. Thankfully, my family is in good health. My father makes a living farming the land and working as a day laborer. My mother spends time doing the chores at home and taking care of us. We share the home with my paternal grandmother, and she is an important piece in our family. My parents are grateful for the many blessings we are receiving through Living Water such as lunch and medicine. My family does not attend a church. Evangelism teachers shared the gospel with my mother. She listened attentively to the Word and they encouraged her to seek God´s way. From here, I will be praying for you, asking God to bless you.
