Greetings my dear sponsors. I hope you are doing well. This is your sponsored child, Rosa Tomasa, bringing you some information about myself. It has been another blessed year. I attend school in second grade. I am 9 years old now. My most difficult experience has been when everyone gets sick and we need to visit a private doctor because sometimes my parents do not have enough money to pay for it. God has been faithful to us in the most difficult situations. I love spending time with my maternal aunt and maternal grandmother; they always are loving to me. I am fortunate to have a little friend. He is Jose Manuel and we enjoy playing toy cars and tag. We have been friends for several years.
As you know, I did not live with my parents because they abandoned me some years ago. Thanks to God, my maternal aunt and her family welcomed me as their own daughter. They are the ones who provide for all my needs. My aunt is Rosario and she stays at home looking out for our family, and she also raises hens and pigs. My uncle is Manuel, and he struggles to support our needs by working as a day laborer. Fortunately, they are in good health. We are members of a Prince of Peace church “Cordero de Dios”. My favorite activity is the children's service on Saturdays. I have learned that Jesus is the Son of God, who came to die for our sins and who gives us eternal life. I appreciate that the evangelism teachers took the time to encourage my family to continue in God´s way. I pray God blesses you in everything you do. I hope you like my letter and look forward to hearing from you soon.
Best wishes,
Rosa Tomasa Saban Ruiz
