My Story

I fondly greet you in the name of Jesus, hoping this letter finds you blessed, prosperous, and victorious. In this opportunity, I want to express that my mother is grateful to LW-Adopt A Child for the food that I can receive at a school here in Pasojoc III. This has been a great blessing not only for me, but for many other children too. My grandparents enrolled their children there and received many benefits, so they motivated their daughter-in-law to take me there. I am Wilson Elias Jimon Ajqui and I have enjoyed delicious food alongside my youngest aunt for three years. When I attend the bible classes, I have a lot of fun learning and playing. I tell you that my whole family and I are in good health. I am 7 years old and I attend the first grade at school again. I like cold weather and I usually help my mother to wash the dishes and sweep.

As you know, she is a very busy housewife who dedicates part of her time to embroidering napkins and weaving typical belts to sell and contribute to the expenses. My father traveled to the United States and today, he makes a living as a cook for a restaurant. We are glad because he is in touch with us by WhatsApp daily and sends us money every fifteen days. My mother and I still live with my grandparents and their children. We attend the Good Shepherd Church and our main motivation to keep going is to learn how to live according God’s will. We are not perfect people, but we know that God is merciful and He will admit us into Heaven because we received Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. I will leave you now, but I kindly ask you to pray for my father so that God keeps him safe and does not lack work. In advance, thank you so much!
