My Story

My sincerest thanks for allowing me to be part of the feeding program. I have attended for one year and it has been a blessed experience. With much love, Yostyn Darel Garcia Suar says hello. I turned 6 years old in July. I am in Kindergarten. The most beautiful moment is when we say grace before a meal in the program. My mother told me about when she was child in the feeding program and what she liked most was attending the Bible Classes. She wanted her child to have the same opportunity that she had. When I come back from school, I help feed the hens at home. I love the different weathers in Guatemala: cold and hot because it lets me doing many things. Thankfully, I am a healthy child.

My mother sends her thanks for the support and different benefits that I receive. My mother is the only one who supports our family by farming the land for others, and she does other odd jobs. In addition, she earns extra money raising and selling hens. My maternal aunt Maritza takes care of me while my mother is working. We share the house with my grandparents. Thank God, my family is well. We attend a Christian Church called Prince of Peace. I enjoy learning about God's love and spending time with my brothers and sisters in the church. I ask for your prayers for my mom, since she sometimes feels overwhelmed by everything she has to handle on her own. Please pray that God will give her the strength to keep going. All I can do is thank you for your kindness; I pray that God multiplies the blessings you share with us.
