My Story

Hello! My name is Floresha Jankishta. I am 74 years old, and my birthday is on June 14th. I have several health problems, including poor liver and kidney function, as well as high blood pressure, which require constant care. My husband passed away 25 years ago, and since then, I have been living with my daughter. She is not married and dedicates her time to taking care of me. I am now retired, but before, I worked in a factory. My pension is very small, and our financial situation is difficult. We live in modest conditions, and while our home is simple, economic hardships make life challenging. The cost of food, medicine, and daily necessities is often overwhelming, and my daughter does her best to support me, but it is still not enough.

Despite these struggles, I am deeply grateful for the support I receive from the church in Polican. I regularly attend the services there, and the church has been a great blessing to me. Every two months, I receive a food package, which helps me during these difficult times. In addition to the main service on Wednesday, the church also organizes special meetings for women, children, and youth, providing encouragement and fellowship. The kindness and care of the church community give me strength and hope.

Even though my financial situation is tough, I trust in the Lord’s provision and remain thankful for the support I receive. I believe that God is always faithful, and I hold onto hope that He will continue to take care of me. I am thankful to the Lord that He is blessing me through the Adopt a Child program.
