My Story

Thank you for reading my history which is created by the team of Adopt a Child. My name is Erigles Leka. I am six years old and my birthday is on June. I am doing well and considered healthy child. My favorite color is blue and future dream is to become policeman. I frequent primary school in the town for the first part of the day and the subject I like to study the best is the reading book. I have already learned to read and write as well as to do some exercises in Math. After school I return in the house together with my mother who walks me at school and back. I help her when she does shopping and while she cleans our house. We are during the season of springs. The days are longer at present and I have the possibility to go outside and play with ball with my friends who live near. My friends and I play for several hours in front of our houses and we enjoy being out in nature. My family is contained from seven persons including my grandparents who share our house. We live in the town in a house that my father has rented. My father works in emigration to provide income for our family. He goes to Greece where he works for a season or two during the year. When he is here, he works in the town where he gets hired in daily or weekly bases. He gets hired from construction companies or people who do repair and maintains in their houses. My mother is jobless. She stays in the house doing cooking, cleaning and other things that have to do with keeping the house in order. Both my grandparents are retired and receive pensions from their previous jobs. They deliver their pensions as financial contribute to my parents who supply their living as well as medical treatments. I have a brother who is older. He is still frequenting school. We are a family with a lot of needs and considered to be poor. My mother has frequented the church of Adopt a Child and she has brought me to get registered at the program. I enjoy frequenting the Bible classes every Sunday in the same time that my mother stays for the church service. After I am registered in the sponsorship program, I will receive constantly food packages that are delivered. I am thankful to the program for the spiritual and physical care offered to me and my family. God bless you!
