Hello! My full name is Silvia Paola Morales Mendoza and I am so happy to let you know a little bit about my life. I turned 10 years old in November, and fortunately, I am in good health. I am in third grade at school, and I like the cold weather because it is more pleasant rather than hot. To contribute to the housework, I usually fold clothes and wash the socks. I have attended the feeding program for about two years. What I like the most about receiving Bible lessons is learning more about God. The food and medicine for free have been a great blessing, which my mother appreciates. She is also grateful for the good service that the LW staff gives to many children like me. She is a single parent who does her best to maintain our family. She is in good health and sells second-hand clothes and toys at the market to support our family.
My father does not live with me because he has another family. He makes a living as a mail man and barely helps us with a little money. My grandmother lives with us and I love her so much because she is nurturing. She strives to contribute to the household expenses. We have passed through a hard economic situation, but we put our confidence in God to move forward. Could you please pray for us? Some of our needs are groceries and shoes. My family and I are Catholic people, but we do not attend church at the moment. Therefore, brother Juan Carlos (a member of the LW staff) shared the gospel with my mother as an encouragement to look for God. He told my mother that God is merciful and He is always waiting for us. To end this letter, I want you to know that my mother helped me to compose this letter for you. Thank you so much for reading it!
Kisses and hugs,
Silvia Paola Morales Mendoza
