Special regards! My full name is Rosa Rocio Coj Garcia and I am so happy to share some of my latest news with you through this letter. I hope you enjoy reading my information. I am a healthy girl and I will be turning 6 years old in November. I am enrolled in pre-kinder and what I like the most is playing with my dolls after finishing my homework. I want you to know that I started to attend the feeding program last year. My mother felt motivated to take me there because my older siblings have received many benefits. She is grateful for the food and medicine that we can receive for free, thanks to your donations. My siblings and I receive Bible lessons and what I like the most is praying. I prefer cold weather rather than hot because it is perfect to run.
I attend the Assembly of God together with my mother, siblings and grandparents. Thankfully, they are all in good health. What my mother likes the most about our church is the fasting and community praying. My mother thinks that it is important to trust in God because He is the only one who can take us to Heaven. Unfortunately, I do not have my father with me because he abandoned my family and me many years ago. Since then, my mother has been the one who supports us. She weaves and embroiders typical clothes to make a living. She also works as a day laborer to earn an extra income. It is time to say goodbye, but I want you to know that brother Hercules (a member of the LW staff) recently encouraged my mother to continue persevering in her faith. Until next time!
With much love,
Rosa Rocio Coj Garcia
