My Story

Dear Sponsor. I hope you are doing great! Please receive warms regards from Jefferson Justin Luis Portuguez. I turned 7 years old in January. I attend school in first grade. I have had the privilege of attending the feeding program for four years. I would like to thank LW for serving us lunch at school. God has blessed me with good health. When I come back from school, I help my mother to feed the hens. I love cold weather since I can go out for a walk. I enjoy participating in the Bible classes for kids and I like to sing at church. 

I have a lovely family. My parents struggle to support our family. As you know, my father did not take responsibility of me. Thank God, I have the support of my stepfather. He makes a living working by tending a grocery store. My mother stays at home doing the chores and she raise hens and pigs for selling. Please pray for my mother´s health because she suffers from her nerves. She takes medicine for pain. My mother tells us that she was part of the feeding program when she was young, and she enjoyed the Bible classes. Therefore, she wanted us to have these beautiful experiences too. My mother says thank you for the support and blessings that I have received through Living Water. My family attends an Evangelical Church called “God is Love”. Here, we have learned about obedience and keeping our eyes fixed on the Lord. May God reward everything you do for each child. Until next time!
