My Story

Hello! My full name is Melanie Andrea Garcia Simaj, and I am a healthy 5-year-old girl. I am excited to share with you that I have attended the feeding program for about one year. What I like the most is participating in the bible classes because I can learn about God. I still do not attend school, so I stay home and help my mother to feed our chickens. I live with my parents and three siblings; I have two sisters and one brother. My siblings and I enjoy taking a bath with cold water when it is hot. My parents strive to provide us with the essentials; my father works as a mason while my mother sells chickens and typical bags called morrales. Please pray for my mother since she has not been doing well lately. She only takes pain relievers to mitigate the body pain that she frequently suffers. Unfortunately, she has not gone to the doctor because of a lack of financial resources. In advance, thank you so much for your prayers!

About our spiritual life, I am pleased to tell you that my whole family and I accepted Jesus as our Lord and Savior a while ago. We are members of Life Christian Church. Our main goal is getting into Heaven, so we go to church to learn more about how to live according to God’s will. Sister Sandra (a member of the evangelism team) recently encouraged us to keep going in our faith. This is all for now, but I appreciate you taking the time to read my information.
