Special regards! I am Genesis Petrona Guarcas Ruiz, and it is such a joy to share a little bit about my life with you. I am 5 years old and I still do not attend school. I stay home and I have a lot of fun playing with my dolls. I started to attend the feeding program about one year ago. I usually receive Bible lessons and I like them because they help me to learn a little about my life. I prefer cold weather because I do not like heat. I attend the Catholic Church alongside my mother and sisters. Listening to the gospel motivates us to persevere at this church. I am pleased to tell you that my mother has assurance of her salvation because she accepted Jesus in her heart. She is a housewife and dedicates part of her time to raising chickens and selling sweet potatoes at the market on Thursdays. She helped me to write this letter for you.
My family and I live with my grandmother and other relatives on my mother’s side. I do not have my father with me because he separated from my mother recently. He makes a living as a minibus driver and takes care of my family financially. Could you please pray for my mother? This has been a difficult situation for her, but we trust that God will help us to move forward. I want you to know that she had the opportunity to attend the feeding program when she was a child. She remembers that she made many friends and received medicine, food, and Christmas gifts. Due to her nice experience, she felt motivated to take my sisters and me there. Before ending this letter, I want you to know that my whole family and I are in good health. Until next time!
Kisses and hugs,
Genesis Petrona Guarcas Ruiz
